Fort Myers, FL (April 1, 2008) Just as the Academy Awards recognizes the stars on the big screen, the Angels of the Arts awards recognizes 14 of Lee County's top artists, performers, volunteers, benefactors, organizations and businesses. Come show your support for our angels at the 5th annual Angels of the Arts Awards Ceremony on Sunday April 13, 2008 at Florida Repertory Theatre in the River District.

The evening will kick off at 5:00pm with a VIP Reception at The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center. After cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, guests will make their way to the Florida Repertory Theatre for the anticipated awards ceremony beginning at 6:30pm.

The Alliance for the Arts has been honoring those who make a tremendous impact on arts and culture in Lee County as "Angels of the Arts" since 2003.
