Realmark Development, LLC has sold and delivered its second luxury condominium building at Cape Harbour. Marina South, a high-rise 110-unit condominium, received its certificate of occupancy, Tuesday, Aug. 2, a mere 17 months after sales started in early March 2005 for the fifteen-story building.

“We are thrilled with how our condo has taken shape,” said owners Gary and Brenda Barton. “The Realmark staff and Kraft Construction have made it really something special, and a home that we are looking forward to enjoying for many years to come.”

On March 15, 2005, over 800 participants were on hand to draw numbers for the opportunity to purchase one of the Marina South condominiums, and the building sold out within a few hours.

The demand for condominiums at Marina South was so great, that Realmark immediately pushed up plans for a second building, Marina South II. Construction commenced on the second tower as quickly as permits were issued. Marina South II should welcome residents in May 2007.

Realmark’s president, Will Stout, was confident that the condominium would be well received. He worked with Kraft Construction to begin the building a few months prior to the start of sales. “We are pleased that just 17 months from the initial sale of the building, the first residents are moving in!” says Stout.

“What you have to focus on is that not only did we bring this building about in record time, but this is the first mixed use building in the city of Cape Coral. It is the tallest building in Cape Coral. The City of Cape Coral, Kraft Construction and the Realmark team worked hand in hand to make this project possible. It’s a monumental event for us and our customers,” Stout added. “We’ve spent so many months working on every detail to make everyone’s home just right. We can’t help but share in the excitement that taking possession of their wonderful new home finally brings.”

“And what is even more important to me is that the entire marina is open for the public to enjoy,” said Stout. “It has always been my philosophy that people from all walks of life, be they residents or visitors, should have access to the waterfront and all the enjoyment that it brings. Finally, people can live, work, dine, shop and be entertained without ever needing a car. They can choose between three restaurants, shop at a gourmet grocer, relax in a day spa, visit wonderful boutiques, sit at the marina with coffee and ice cream, stroll the promenades, or hop on their boat and be in the Gulf in just minutes. Life just doesn’t get any better than this!”

To showcase the building, Realmark will have four professionally decorated condominiums on public display starting August 15.
