Home port
Nautical colors and decorative details throughout The Dominica condominium make its tidy 1,400 square feet shipshape for seasonal residents and also for area boaters who are discovering Cape Harbour as their Gulf Coast home away from home. “We have owners from as nearby as Naples who come in their boats and stay for a few days at a time,” says Rosemarie Maatsch, sales manager at the waterfront community in Cape Coral. By day they explore the surrounding waters, and by night they enjoy the restaurants, shops and galleries that are a pleasant stroll from the deepwater marina, in Cape Harbour's Promenade.
Interior designer Cherie Clark of Cherie Clark Interiors outfitted The Dominica’s second bedroom, shown here, as a den. On the walls, wide horizontal stripes painted in Benjamin Moore’s Admiral Blue lead the eye to sliding doors and blue skies beyond. The Dominica is on the 10th floor of Cape Harbour’s Marina South building. See more on the next three pages.

Stateroom with a view
Like the second bedroom/den shown on the previous page, the master suite in The Dominica opens onto the lanai with a panoramic view. The Dominica is one of five floor plans in Cape Harbour’s 15- story Marina South building, where twoand three-bedroom residences range from 1,400 to 1,800 square feet. Prices are from the $400,000s to the mid- $700,000s. See pages 22-23 for more photos of The Dominica and for information about how to visit it and four other models in Marina South.

Waterfront living
The living and dining area (this and facing page) in The Dominica model on the 10th floor of Cape Harbour’s Marina South building is decorated in creamy neutrals with marine blue details that reflect the community’s emphasis on boating. Deepwater slips and covered boat storage are on-site; smooth sailing on the Gulf of Mexico and the Intracoastal Waterway are minutes away.

Captain's table
There are four restaurants at Cape Harbour, all within easy walking distance of Marina South and Marina South II condominiums (each with 15 floors and 110 residences). For residents craving a bit of privacy, however, it’s as easy as picking up a few things from PignoliGourmet Market in Cape Harbour’s Promenade and heading home to set the table. In The Dominica, interior designer Cherie Clark created a dining area that’s the perfect spot for lingering over coffee in the morning, dessert in the evening or anything in between. The living area, lanai and lovely view (facing page) are to the left of the table.
